Thank you for joining the course. As you can see in the title, this course is really a short intro to data analysis. There's a lot to learn in the analysis field. There many scattered resources on the web and you may feel overwhelmed. I know I do.

In this course I want to help you understand the basics of the analysis. These basics will then build the foundation for your later learning.

After completing this course you will learn:

• the history of data analysis
• different types of analysis
• understand analysis process
• analysis, and
• be able to do some of this analysis yourself

The curriculum of the course is like this.

We will start with the history of data analysis and its methods.

Then will learn about some of the available tools

You'll also find out the answer that question: which tool should you be using

Of course, we want to clean-up data. Before we actually jump into the analysis, we have to organize and clean-up our data. And folks 90% of all the analysis of is actually data organization and clean-up.

You will later find out various types of analyses. And we will complete the course by looking at simple linear regression and multiple linear regression.
